This shade-grown tea from the tencha leaf is deveined then stone ground into a fine powder. This bright green powder is whipped into water that is heated to just before boiling resulting in a smooth, vegetal sweetness with no astringency.

Easy to Prepare Frozen Matcha Latte
• 1 tsp of My Fantasy Tea's - Organic Daily Matcha Powder
• 1/4 cup warm water
• 3 tsp of Necter
• 1/2 cup milk or milk alternative
• 1 cup ice cubes
• Mix matcha powder with warm water in a bowl.
• Stir until completely dissolved.
• Str in The Republic of Tea's Agave Nectar.
• Add in milk and stir.
• Add ice cubes and blend in a blender until smooth.
• Enjoy Sip by Sip.

Fill the kettle with fresh, filtered water and heat to just short of boiling. Fill matcha bowl or cup with warm water and pour out. Add ½ to 1 teaspoon of matcha powder to bowl or cup. Add 6 oz of steaming water (175°F). Experiment to find your favored strength. Using a tea whisk or a hand frother blend for one to two minutes until the matcha forms a nice top foam. For iced tea, blend ½ to 1 teaspoon to 8 oz of cold water and pour into a glass of ice.

Matcha grows through the winter, and for the final 3-4 weeks of growth, it’s shaded — this is part of the traditional matcha-making process that gives matcha its umami flavor and rich green color. What’s special about this matcha is that it’s grown in a really special way: we know the exact farm that provided 100% of the matcha in this tin (aka it’s not a blend), and the necessary shade is provided by solar panels that generate power for nearby cities. Plus, it's pesticide-free and only uses organic food scraps as organic fertilizer that is produced by the local community to maintain a closed-loop system.
Use a bamboo whisk to vigorously blend matcha with water and/or a splash of milk (we prefer unsweetened, organic almond milk)
